N3VEM, back with some new posts! www.n3vem.com This week I shared my experience doing a self-proclaimed first for National Parks on the Air: Mobile PSK31, while “under-way!” I did, however, stumble on some evidence that someone (or something?) might have beaten me to it – you’ll have to check out the pictures in my post about being mobile in Shenandoah to find out what I’m talking about. In addition to sharing about the challenges of being mobile in the mountains, I share my thoughts on the “bad behavior” that new hams sometimes get blamed for. Along with this, I make a plea on behalf of all new hams for some patience and understanding, and give my thoughts on some new guiding principles that we should all make part of our operating credo.
