Been using this old version of HRD for aeons now and it does what I need, mostly logging. But I now notice that when I open the HRD log, the HB9DRV-9 DX cluster is no longer loading. Has this disappeared, is there another option? I did use that with HRD on 80 and 40M CW for night DX. Otherwise, I may just go to a new logging software because of the 'unspecified error' messages that I'd gotten rid of for a long time.
You might try this program: http://www.bcdxc.org/ve7cc/ If you set up a connection between HRD and VE7CC using localhost and port 7300 it will appear in the cluster drop down. Or you can use it as a stand-along cluster program.
Thank You. I don't really understand this stuff but VE7CC-1 worked in my HRD version. How do I make it so I can post DX on the cluster? I've never really understood this stuff.
HB9DRV-9 is off "air" since about 4 or 5 days. Look at this link https://forums.hamradiodeluxe.com/node/49070 This is the HRD V6 Forum but the issue is the same on V5.x. Posting on the cluster is only if you have a passwort. You have to contact the sysop of the cluster to get a passwort. Then, after login and sending the passwort you are able to send spots. 73 de Volker, DL3LK Web: http://dl3lk.darc.de/
