Donald D. Cripe, KE3MM SK Honorable Donald D. Cripe Aug. 24, 1954 - Nov. 28, 2016 NEW GALILEE, PA - The Honorable Donald D. Cripe, Mayor of New Galilee, and Major, Civil Air Patrol, 62, of New Galilee, died unexpectedly Monday, Nov. 28, 2016. Born Aug. 24, 1954, in Wolf Lake, MD, he was the son of the late John R. and Ila (Olinghouse) Cripe. Don was an Endowment Life Member of the NRA, a member of the VVA Chapter 862, and a Life Member of the DAV. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He was also a founding member of the Ellwood City Amateur Radio Association, a past Commander of CAP Beaver County Composite Squadron 704, and a member of the Ellwood-Wampum Rod & Gun Club. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Sally Jo (Bradfield) Cripe; a daughter, Virginia Marie Cripe, South Bend, IN; a son, Specialist Joshua Cripe, U.S. Army, stationed in Korea; two stepsisters, Goshen, IN; mother and father-in-law, Paul and Marion Bradfield; a brother-in-law, Pete (Linda) Bradfield, of South Bend, IN; two sisters-in-law, Ann (Rev. Dr. Jim) Wilson, Columbus, OH, and Connie (Dan) Dowhower, Lebanon, PA; four nephews, P.W. (Manda) Bradfield of South Bend, IN, Lt. Commander Jacob (Kelly) Wilson, Rhode Island, Peter (Amanda) Wilson, Columbus, OH, and Jeffrey (Lizzi) Zimmerman, Washington D.C.; great-nephews, Jacob and Grant Wilson; a great-niece, Avery Wilson; and Specialist Daniel Burnside, U.S. Army, stationed in Alaska, who is loved as a son. Don, my heart, you are forever loved. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Lambright. A service will be held at Steffin Hill Presbyterian Church, 2000 Darlington Rd., Beaver Falls, PA 15010 on Monday, December 5th.
