How about making 60000 contacts on 2-meters? It would be a bigger accomplishment and it might help the 2-meter 'reallocation' situation through usage of the band. So just curious.... did you make any new friends with those 60000 contacts? IMO FT-8 is a fad. It will eventually go the way of all those other unused digital modes. As soon as something else comes along to occupy the minds of Amateurs FT-8 will also fall to the way side. After a while the voice modes will come back in vogue again and FT-8 will be almost forgotten. It will be referred to as a 'legacy mode.' Dan KI4AX
