Coastal Amateur Radio Society (CARS) meeting will be held Monday night, August 7th at 7:00 PM, in the White Bluff Presbyterian Church, 10710 White Bluff Rd, Savannah, GA 31406. This month we will be hosting a presentation, 'All about Baluns'. Find out what a balun does for you? What happens if you don't use one? And does using a balun really make a difference? We will cover examples of the different kinds of baluns, and when you might use one vs the other. Our meetings are open to the public and you do not have to be a licensed ham operator to attend.
