    I stumbled on a site
That has some too good to be true deals on Yaesu and icom gear. A google search for the first domain nmae reveals many complaints about scams - they apparnetly try to get you to send cash/western union to china and never supply goods. Second site hasn't built much of a public (dis)reputation) yet but tries to sell the same gear at almost the same prices and looks very similar and is hosted on the same server (as are a number of other sites with warnings):

    Yaesu FT-857D HF/VHF/UHF mobile/backpack/base $300
    Yaesu FT-7900R or Icom IC-208H UHF/VHF mobile $160
    Yaesu VX-8DR, VX-7R, VX-6R multiband HT's $160
Plus some marine and airband gear. Most of that gear sells for at least twice, in some cases four times, that price from reputable dealers.

Show up on froogle as "leroy brown" or "james mericle". 'Bad, Bad, Leroy Brown" - Jim Croce
Here is just one of the sites with scam reports:
Some sites mention "Nanyang esc international trade co ltd" ring

Common sense dictates you NEVER GIVE money to any sites like these, just one look at these prices says it all,you will NEVER SEE your tranceiver or money ever again, except when using a credit card.Regards,Dave.
