    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

AN Wireless Towers is back under ownership by the original founder, Dan Simmonds / KK3AN.

East Berlin, Pennsylvania - November 18, 2015 – AN Wireless Towers, home of the highly regarded self-supporting tower line since 2001, is under full control by its original founder, and is back in operation from south central Pennsylvania.

The proven & rugged AN Wireless designs can be found in all 50 states and several Canadian provinces supporting impressive HF yagi stacks by well known contesters & big-gun stations such as KH6LC in Hawaii, and KL7AR in Alaska.

With over 700 tower installations worldwide & on the eve of the 15th anniversary of the company in 2016, we are continuing our heritage of providing true commercial-class, self supporting towers up to 120’ in height in partnership with our original structural design team, Tower Engineering Professionals, and specifically Ron Glover, P.E., S.E., based in Raleigh, North Carolina. TEP maintains current licensure in all 50 states and several provinces for site-specific wet-stamped drawings as needed for our customers and municipalities requiring construction permits for our towers.

AN Wireless Towers, founded in July of 2001 by Dan Simmonds, KK3AN, and later incorporated in 2006, has grown from manufacturing one tower per month strictly for hams, to supplying towers to the US Navy, the US Air Force and numerous government contractors internationally, including BAE Systems and Halliburton.

During the later part of 2015, time will be spent re-tooling the manufacturing end of the business in terms of employing a new high-definition (high-def) CNC plasma operation that will perform all tower leg cutting and hole burning in one step. This replaces our prior method of shearing the tower legs to width & punching the holes manually, which ultimately assures greater finished tolerances and repeatability. And as always, hot dip galvanizing will be done after fabrication.

AN Wireless Towers is proud to be back in Adams County, PA with its American-designed & built products.

Big congrats Dan!!! I am so happy that you're back at the helm. My AN Wireless Tower is still standing strong after numerous storms and a hurricane. I will be getting another AN Wireless tower to add to the 'farm' when your operation is up and running.
