Time Zone?

 

I was surprised to see that picture of the STS- 107 Shuttle Crew. My wife worked directly with that crew just before the launch. She has that exact picture with autographs from each of the crew members thanking her for her support. We were down at the Indian river waiting for the arrival of the shuttle when news came across the Titusville Amateur Radio Club link that the shuttle had been lost on Radar. My wife volunteered for the recovery phase the next day and spent the next few weeks in Texas. It was a very sad day and one I will not soon forget.

 

NASA is now 60 years old (in its current form). Before that there was NACA. So good job NASA!
