AL-811 Low Power out 17 & 12 Meter bands

    As title states I have low power output on the 17 Meters & 12 Meter band. Any suggetions? Band switch? Input coils? Any help/advise appreciated. NEVER Mind post OP error!!! Forgot to turn tuner on----OOppss

    Look for a direct short between the headphones.;)

    Yep I found a short between the ears! Sometimes the simple things get you.

    I had a similar situation on a AL-811 and solved it with retuning the input coils.But you have to pay attention
    as you have to `devide ┬┤the tuning on the same coil between the two bands.In other words,max input on one
    band is not nessecarely max input on the other so you must devide carefully as well choose your most ususal
    operating frequencie.
