Going to the sun? I wondered why the launch was at night.

One of the reasons for a night launch is timing. They plan to slingshot the probe around one of the other planets to pick up more speed. Was reading about it on another website. This probe was first thought of in the 1960's but the tech to develop it has only been available the last couple of years. Hope it goes well.

They go at night so they won't burn up. :)
