HRD and my transceiver work just fine and dandy together. No problems at all. Throw WSJT into the mix and set it to use HRD and I have nothing but problems. Looses connection constantly, erratic operations, erroneous commands sent to the transceiver, won't operate in split mode. Already spent way too much time trying to trouble shoot it. Running HRD Logbook alone with WSJT and JT Alert works fine as long as I don't try using HRD's rig control.

The only time I ever had a problem was when I somehow got the polling rate set to something other than 1-second. Of course, there are just so many different rig/interface/pc connections that nothing is a sure thing. ;)

Considering how complex these systems are these days I'm sometimes surprised that they work at all. Still it's a hell of a lot of fun to play with. If my electronics instructors from back in college some 35+ years ago could see the equipment I'm working with today it would look like something out of a SciFi movie.

Yes and this way I can even use the Rig for Split Mode and it works great.

Exactly. Making it work is at least half the fun. :)
