When I was in college, I worked one summer at an adhesives laboratory (Ablestik corporation) and almost ended up changing my major to chemistry. There is SO much cool stuff happening in the chemical and materials engineering these days. The problem is.....it's HARD.....probably an order of magnigute harder than computer programming for the average joe.
I think we need to get back to real physical engineering....like this video shows.
I completely agree with you, India and China are rapidly becoming the two smart kids on the block...
That may be true but, there are MANY others.
Alan W2AEW, Mr. Carlson's Lab, and EEVBlog, come to mind. There are lots of others.
