Thank You for all that you do regarding the space weather reports; I have learned from them.
The one thing that is bending my brain is that on 12/10/2018 there were reports of : SFI 71, A 9, K3 & SN 12. I know that 12 sun spots are no big deal, but the bands did not reflect any noticeable change. These numbers were present with very little change over a 5 to 6 day period and I didn't notice any propagation change. The only change was me thinking that I was going to get some good DX, didn't happen.
So what am I missing here? Which numbers are the most significant? I know we are in the dip at present and the bands are going to turn to dog upon dog when we peak. But again, what am I missing here? I have kept a WWV/H log with daily readings and the Solar Terrestrial number too for years and the greatest day in recent time was June 12, 2018 when I copied all 6 of WWV's transmissions. This year, June was good for 6 meters; so what made it different? Thomas - W6LDX
