    Hi all,

The last week was full of events related to Ham Radio. After many months, the first two DATV contacts on a geostationary satellite in Polish were finally made ex aequo. The first communication took place between Czeslaw's SQ9LFC and Adam's SP9ACQ stations, but it was incomplete because the voice channel was implemented via the Narrow Band of this satellite.

Also the first communication took place between the Tomsz SQ6DV and Adam's SP9ACQ stations, here it was full, because the voice and video channel was implemented via the Wide Band of this satellite. The transmission via this geostationary satellite was two-way and trouble-free and allowed for a lively discussion.

It's a very interesting experience to finally see and not just hear the radio amateur stations with which we had phonic communication. Such a transmission sometimes also carries educational value, because one picture is worth a thousand words and sometimes it is better to show something than to explain it by describing a given thing.
