Finally! It’s here – (tr)uSDX by DL2MAN. This is the final version of the popular uSDX Prototype from DL2MAN – Manuel.

(tr)uSDX is both similar and also kind of different from the original project, particular the versions sandwich versions by Manuel.

Read this to learn the difference https://itshamradio.com/usdx-forked-out-to-trusdx

David DL1DN from QRP Lifestyle gave us a complete review, unboxing and test of the official (tr)uSDX by DL2MAN – German Group Buy Build.

Once bitten, twice shy. These kits can be a challenge. I tried my luck with the MKARS80 QRP transceiver. With the help of Steve - G6ALU it came to a good end. Without him the kit wasnt to save and had to find its way to the next garbage. And when I watched the video here, I saw first some failure to wind up the wire around the metalcores. Always put the wire through the hole and wind up from the middel symmetrical. For example with needed 14 winds for the core, there are 7 to the left and 7 to the right. And in those kits are sometimes more bad surprises than expected. Of course I learned much when I put my kit together, but there was much patience needed.

I'm thinking this would be a good kit to source parts for and build as a club event.

The build quality uBtix V6 is very poor including some bad software.

Even though the Gigaparts gives it 5 *

Beware of what you are buying and it might just self destruct on power up!

.. and there are no refunds!

Pay careful attention to transmit audio quality in any demos you can find.

Maybe that problem is fixed from the original WB2CBA, maybe not.

I built the uSDX board designed by WB2CBA, so I have direct experience with that one. TX quality is miserable, but it does work for FT8.

hmmm..just bulk order :-( Just want to pay more for it, but don´t want to collect 50 pieces of them.. :-(
So, looks like have to wait until the market will have enough and sell it via ebay etc.

Living in zl, there's about a zero percent chance of a group buy for these in my country.

There was a VK buy, that I headed up, that has a bunch of ZLs on it. I may be persuaded to run another group buy in March or April if you are interested.
