SOTA-Summer 2021 in the Swiss Alps with HB9NBG+HB9FZC

Hi Folks

Just came back yesterday from our week nr.4 in our SOTA-Summer 2021. We were on tour for 20 days now and could activate 24 summits in the beautiful Swiss Alps and in the Swiss Pre-Alps within these 20 days
The wx was not as perfect as last summer, but it was a great fun anyway to work with the small and lightweight combination of ELECRAFT KX2 and ELECRAFT AX1 Telescopic-antenna.

We've produced a little movie with some awesome impressions from the first 3 weeks in English language - enjoy it!

What an inspiring video and advert for the KX2, SOTA and Switzerland! If it were not for Covid I'd be jumping in a plane tomorrow. The two of you are awesome.

 

This is the spirit! FOUR consecutive weeks doing big activations! Being able to do it with your partner makes it sweeter. (though MINE wouldn't even do a day hike lol!)

What spetacular views. Would be hard to focus on the radio. The Kx2 really shines in that type of use.
