Most Hams have grown a little tired of the difficulty in programming Baofeng radios as well as many other Chinese made radios. Thankfully TIDRADIO has come out with a simple device to make programming these radios extremely simple! TIDRADIO has made a Bluetooth Programming device for programming that works with both Android and iPhones.
There is a link in the video's description are. However, at the moment they are out of stock, but are trying to get more as quickly as possible.
This was covered a month ago on the front page. https://forums.qrz.com/index.php?th...tooth-baofeng-programmer.769092/#post-5892509

Like products from these companies? 1.Ray Ban 2.Hush Puppies 3.Arrow Shirts 4.Gillette 5.Barbie 6.Woolrich 7.Huffy 8.Levi’s 9.Converse 10.Nike 11.Schwinn 12.Black & Decker Just to name a few.... Sadly it is getting harder and harder to find anything made in the USA.
It *might* get a little better, though. We think of China as cheap labor, but relative to our two economies, is it really, when factoring in buying power? (Serious question, i do not know). In the US, taxes and utilities cost much less, utilities are more reliable, and real estate is much cheaper here than in the very dense manufacturing districts in certain parts of China, so at least some forward thinking Chinese companies are outsourcing to the US. International commerce is not something I can even pretend to understand, but it does seem to my uninformed mind that there may be some hope.
L3 Harris radios are made in the USA. and many, from the XG-100 to XL series, can be programmed via Bluetooth. They also aren't sold on Amazon.
I bought a UV5R back when I knew next to nothing about radios. It was easier to setup than some printers I've used. Outside of bad connectors or USB cables, I cannot see why the added complexity of BT would be any easier than USB...unless we are just selling products here.
