    QUOTE:
    Dear Friends Of Universal Radio,

Time waits for no one, and that includes Barbara and myself.
We have decided to retire and our current location in Worthington
will close on November 30, 2020. Even though the store is closing
we will fulfill all existing customer orders and have a large amount
of inventory to close-out. The Universal Radio website will be maintained
for the foreseeable future to sell this remaining stock, publications and
some select products. Unfortunately the lack of a store front showroom
will preclude us from carrying some manufacturers’ products.

I am very fortunate to have been in the radio business for over 50 years,
13 at Radio Shack and 37 at Universal Radio. We have met many wonderful
people along the journey who have supported me personally as well as
Universal Radio. It has been a privilege to have a continuous career in
the fascinating field of radio since 1969.

Please accept our sincere “Thank You” for your support of Universal Radio
for these many years, and for the months to come.

Our new address for correspondence and mail order is below.
This is not a store front.

    Universal Radio Inc.
    752 N. State St. Unit 222
    Westerville, OH 43082

    Phone: 614 866-4267

    Thank you.

Good luck to you. Not having a storefront is probably a good thing right now. Safe safe and enjoy

Your customer/friends will still be around. 73's and C U on the Bands.

Best wishes, Fred, Barbara. Enjoy retirement. It has been a great pleasure and opportunity to know you and conduct business with Universal over so many years. I fondly remember our first introduction when you folks began your endeavors with Universal. Perhaps our paths will cross again.

Universal Radio has been a constant companion on my radio ride from early 80s SWL to Ham. Can't say enough about what a great partner they've been, except for the cats. :)

Best wishes and thank you guys.

    Greetings Fred!
Time to pile into that RV and roam around a little with your better half.
Imagine feeding the ducks on a nice lake with your feet up agreeing that your work career
was another life ago, and like myself, a nice Mon, Wed, Fri ballance of meeting my ham buddies for
bicycle rides and messing with your collection of radios. I like exploring the many talk groups on DMR and
their many interests like railroading, gold prospecting, RVing. Develop a standard routine and go for it.
Best of luck and try to keep the old normal alive. Regards Rich

Good luck in your next step in life. Ordered a few items from your store and received great customer service.

Universal was always on my list of places to purchase, and 3 rigs resulted.

    Will be missed!
