Trying to get this thing on FT8 with no luck. I have been through dozens of videos and posts. When I hit the test button it goes green and I am able to see contacts coming in. When I hit the transmit test I hear the relay in the radio click but the radio never goes into transmit.

Any ideas before I give up?

Without checking my setup I’m not sure transmit test includes power out. Radio ‘clicked’ and did transmit indicator on radio light, just no power out. Also easy to setup transit enabled via two paths which can really confuse the radio.
    Good Luck!

Do you have the correct CODEC selected? Is the Windows Microphone setting allowing the software to access it?

Output should not be speaker, at least not for my configuration. I use SignaLink so my transmit setup is different.
7300 has USB port, I think. Is com8 assigned by the driver. My last icon with USB used that port for CAT and audio, but I don’t recall they were the same com number.

    Change Output to USB CODEC
    Change PTT Method to CAT
    Change Stop Bits to 1

My 7410 has to be on CODEC and USB data to operate. And since I disconnect my laptop for other uses I sometimes have to go back into the CODEC settings.
Initially I also had to do a soft reset of my radio too.
