Six meters has been rocking & rolling lately as this "season" of ionopheric E layer propagation has peaked. Not watched all her episdoes, but never heard Dr. Skov WX6SWW mention anything about it. It is definitely also "Space WX". A relatively under-explored phenomenon, there are several hypothesis on the geophysical mechanism and certainly there is a demand to develop a better more precise ability to predict its occurances and intensity. Perhaps E layer ionisation should become a research project topic at Millersville University of PA. Sporadic E, Es Propagation Using Sporadic E, Es Propagation for Amateur Radio 73, John, WØPV

I've missed it. In 2021 there will be annular solar eclipse 147 saros, the maximum phase of which can be observed in Canada, Greenland and Russia. This eclipse is a repetition through the Saros of the annular solar eclipse on May 31, 2003, the strip of which passed over Greenland, and the partial phases were visible almost throughout the territory of the former USSR. It is also unique in that it can be seen at the North Pole. The next eclipse of this Saros will occur on June 21, 2039.
