Small mintage but one of a very large number of precious metal commemorative coins that many countries have issued for decades to raise cash and get noticed. As a ham I love the idea and the design is striking--but I would never buy it solely as an investment. Here's how this coin fits into what Lithuania is currently producing: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/lituanie-10.html

Actually $48 in gold. You are right about the numismatic value being very low, unless there is real collector demand, which I doubt. (As I said, many countries have lots of offerings every year--with few exceptions these are not "rare coins".) If you want gold buy bullion coins right from a well known national mint, like the U.S., or a a major mint's distributor, such as Canada uses. Hopefully never from somebody on TV. There will be a markup above spot, but that seems unavoidable given the mintage costs.

Five euros is worth about $5.70... The gold in this coin is worth a bit less than $50. You can get one on eBay for about $120.it has a very small mintage that would make it rare if there were any demand for it... but there isn't.
