Holland = Hans Brinker, Heineken, hash, hemp, and Hams on 60 meters with higher power swishing 100 khz. Civilized yet shameless show offs! :p

The channelmeister naysayers will be cringing - I will be QRV for you on our designated spectrum points 1-5, over over.

We are getting there, looks like we are getting 15 kHz or so.

So much for, "Now it'll take a year to get it going."

The present allocation is 5 channelized spots at 100w ERP for US. The proposed allocation is 15KHz continuous with 15watts ERP. Yikes! Compare this to the 100 KHz continuous and 100 w that are Dutch friend is enjoying.

    Hence...'don't rub it in'....

we have 5.2585 - 5.4065 100w in the UK but i can never find anyone on it . but ours isnt continious we do have gaps all down the frequency.
Looking forward to actually getting a contact on there. Use an ex military clansman for portable so its ideal for 60m :)

15 WATTS ERP !!!!!! That is nothing! That means 8.5 watts or so into a dipole is legal limit?

Only if the dipole is in free space.... its a stupid limitation and totally impractical.

Sigh. If I could just get my quantum layer propagation device to work we hams could have the entire spectrum to do with whatever we want.

Netherlands/Holland/Dutch -- how can I ever tell which one to use?

Very nice that you have that allocation now. If more countries do something similar and hams use the frequencies, it will make it much more likely that we get a better allocation in the US.

Not the best transoceanic propagation tonight in FL on 5 mhz but lots of activity being heard calling our European friends with their new privileges. Check out the clip attached of PH9B on channel 4 5371.5 khz USB.

Now a QSO on RTTY too! Thanks Bram!
