I have been searching for a page that describes what PiStar is and does (without having to log into a FB account or watch YT videos). Does such a thing exist?

 

I also do NOT use FB (can't stand it really) Would like a regular web page that doesn't require you to "log in" like FB does!

It seems like everything is on facebook now days. A GitHub page would have been just as easy for everyone else without facebook. Plus you get bug tracking and version features.

Watching the video it doesn't appear to support the DV4mini.

 

Correct W6IR - Pi-Star does NOT support DV4Mini - and from my readings there are none planned.

 

Had me until FB sorry but I don't do FB, I use group.io or yahoogroups but that is about it.

Might check it out anyway and hope I don't need help with it hihi.

I'm impressed by all the non FB users. I thought I was the only dinosaur.
I too hate that so many companies put their product info there.

I use Pi-Star on my Raspberry Pi Zero W. I'm using it with the ZUMSpot and it works great.
Does the 4 modes, DMR,DSTAR,P27 and fusion. Around 100 bucks give or take.
