    This was an EOC activation, so it was not out and about. All antennas were dipoles.

    Great video of our first Field Day Activation of the Orange County EOC. We made some contacts, learned a bunch, and had some fun. Thanks N2KI for the great video!!

    We practiced being activated by our County government. We started that morning and took our gear from the radio room hung dipoles from the roof and got on the air in 4 hours. That tower has public service and one of our repeaters.

    In a county of over 370k population good to see from drone pix...many trees...maybe more trees then when Washington was there with his troops...KE7XL....former Wn2vrz/wb2vrz from Newburgh.
