    Hi Everybody;

    The Plasma Prediction center at NOAA has detected another relatively slow moving plasma cloud from the sun. The cloud is predicted to hit on July the 2nd. at 17:00 UTC.
    This cloud is slow moving but one of the densest one we have seen in a long time. Check the attachment of this e-mail and/or go to the NOAA website.

    Make sure you turn on your transceiver for 6m and possibly even higher sporadic E.

    All the best and good DX;

    Alex - VE7DXW

    Out here on the rig with my KX3, maybe I'll get some 6 meter action!

    I agree. So many six metre stalwarts are using JT65 that CW and SSB activity has dropped significantly. I'm playing with JT65 on 6m out of frustration. I hope this is only temporary.

    Computer-to-computer "QSOs" are killing six meters. I, too hope that this digital nonsense is only temporary---what fun is a contact one cannot even hear?

    Long live CW and SSB (and even AM/FM) where the real magic begins!

    73+6, Jeff (diehard six-meter sidebander until SK)
