For over a decade, HFpack enthusiasts have met at Hamvention for an Eyeball QSO Rally. Operators from all over the world converge on this event, the largest gathering of backpack radio operators in the world. With the new venue in Xenia this year, it will meet outside at the main flagpole on Saturday at 1:15PM local time. Traditionally, the HFpack calling frequency at 18157.5 kHz USB is utilized for the net. Everyone is welcome at this event, where many types of lightweight portable HF radio setups are shown in action.
