    Hello my fellow Ham's.

I am in need of four more 10-10 International Member QSO's in order to submit my membership application. I can be available at almost any time with a bit of advanced notice and can work just about any digital mode.

I prefer FT8, PSK31, JT65 or RTTY - but if you are willing to QSO me with any other digital mode I'll make a go of it.

Please reach out to KD2NOM 'at' gmail 'dot' com and we'll chat.

    73, Mark - KD2NOM

I see your PropNet beacon on 28.118 almost every day.

Sometimes I can "poke" it and get a response, If I see you on 10, I'll try to make contact.

The exchange with FT8 might be a little difficult due to the standardized macros, but it can be done.

    Thanks James,

What I normally do is send an email afterwards as well to make sure it was a valid QSO (no deep decoding issues).

I found the link on the ten-ten site to validate call signs and realized that I have a lot of 10 meter contacts (on SSB as well as digital) that are 10-10 members - I submitted my application today.

I'm really enjoying 10meter though - if I get issues my number I'm going to help others get QSO's on 10

I have never heard of using digital modes to get your 10, 10-10 numbers for membership. They are usually picked up on 10 meters SSB, or on the 10-10 nets 28.380 and 28.800.

    Lisa,

    Thanks!

The requirements listed on the 10-10 International Website state:

"Any licensed amateur authorized to operate on the 10 meter band can join 10-10. It is required that you contact 10 10-10 members (on 10 meters), listing their information as noted on the Membership Application form. "

I contacted the organization to verify that Digital is an acceptable mode and they indicated absolutely.

I didn't realize that they were still going ( 10-10 international that is), I joined way back. I do check the 10M CW beacons everyday, its open sometimes for sure. Good luck on your quest.

    Thank you Brian,

After combing thru my logs I believe I have the requisite number of QSO's and have submitted them for consideration - might have my 10-10 number soon!
