This is a Raspberry Pi 3 kit with a 7 inches touchscreen that I build in about 30 minutes. Stay tune for my next videos about how I'm gonna use this for ham radio.

    Nice job.

The part about people requesting that you help them learn Linux cracked me up. :)

People need to learn how to drive, Before buying a car.

Hi Donald, thanks for your support ;-) Don't get me wrong I loved to help people but sometime it's just to far away and not possible. Giving a link where to find an image and so on is ok but explaining in an email how Linux permission works, it's a little bit long, hihi. 73

Providing project info for other hams then laughing when they ask for help is.... not helpful. Fortunately many hams are willing to help those who ask and further the involvement in the hobby. Most people do not read books and study before learning to drive a car. The get in a car and start driving. In a parking lot. With a good driver in the passenger seat. Ideally.

I have no problem helping someone, If I can help them, And they can do something without getting hurt.

    Butt Hurt included. ;)

When you teach, Getting everyone on the same page and up to speed can be hard.

    What ever you like.

Pascal, nice video and thanks for sharing it! I'm anxious to see how you use the Pi 3 & touch screen with Ham Radio projects - so please make some videos of that when you can.

The Pi 3 and touchscreen go well with a TNC-Pi and Xastir to make a wonderful little APRS unit.

I watched your video and I liked it, but I have never fooled with a raspberry pi.

I do know Unix and have worked in computer operations on an HP-9000 running HP-UX back in the 90's so the Unix commands are not a problem.

My question for you is what do you do with it now that it is built ?
What is it used for in ham radio or other things ? What can you do with it ?

    Thank you,
