    Interesting to see this in here as 'new' when it has been available in UK for years AND has recently been listed as 'discontinued' on MLS website. There is a 'PL' version (covers 4m instead of 10m. not much use in USA) but that is not listed as discontinued it is listed as 'unavailable - new model coming'.

    Nothing less than a Chinese JUNK knock-off of the Yaesu FT8900. It may be cheaper than Yaesu but 20y from now it will be in the landfill while my 8900 is still working.

    For a buck more in manufacture they could have put the standard 6 pin minidin on the back to facilitate connections for digital modes. Sorry, no sale.

    I was being snarky. The FCC recently banned some import radios that allowed transmitting out-of-US-ham-bands.

    315 is an international ISM bane.
