Quite the lightning rod issue with a WW3 battle here on QRZ late last year (?) when the latest version of it was introduced into the House Of Representatives.

if you really think those non ham radio hoa chair people have any slue about ham radio, do you really even think they care....reasonable accommodation what a line of BS.

You really got to have your head in the sand if you think they are going to approve any type of antennas.........get real people...

each hoa will have their own rules and regulations.............

I am hoping the Republicans will continue to be wandering in the wilderness and the Democrats continue to not help them letting this mess of a bill die in obscurity.

I'm confused. The last effort failed in the Senate due largely to the opposition of one Senator. I have heard nothing to indicate this one Senator has in any way changed his position. Where does all this "Looks like it's Happening!" optimism coming from?

Hope so, because as of right now no antennas are allowed at all.

It's interesting there's criticism on a bill that, as of yet, hasn't even posted it's contents.
This may be very different from those other submissions is some very substantial ways.
Then again, maybe not. Just need to get the facts first, then be critical of the bill's content.

    Have fun

    There are NO differences.

Those who attended K1VR's talk at Dayton understand that IF HR505 passes, as written, it will be the END OF HAM RADIO AS WE KNOW IT.

He hasn't. He will kill the bill.

IMO the ARRL is depending on this to get them out of a fatal situation: the bill is a disaster for ham radio as written.

Yeh, the end of almost all ham radio in the US....

when you move into an hoa you sign up willingly.. follow the rules if you agree to it .. not everyone likes towers and antennas. I personally do so I do not live in an hoa community.. it is simple..

Had the OP checked at all, he would've seen this is not a new topic. Another identical thread was created several days ago.

Right out of the gate, he insults the opposition. Nice. Apparently, he wants to start a thread, and simultaneously create animosity. An old expression applies: "You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar."

It's not about attracting flies with Honey. It's about flies hovering around a different material, which matched their "Facts," in both content, and Smell!

The FACT is that the Bill is moving Forward, and it's going to become Law. In Spite of the HOA Lapdogs and the CC&R Lackies. They don't like this. They HOPED that it would Go Away. But it hasn't. It's HAPPENING.

    73 and All the Best!
