Barker And Williamson, a longtime manufacturer of antennas have several antennas that are excellent for ham radio and are broadband. The B&W 180 foot folded dipole antenna is an excellent antennna for ham radio operation. The reason I am selling it is I do not have the room to erect this antenna on my property. It has never been used.
The antenna features:
All stainless steel construction.
Broadband operation without a tuner and SWR less than 2:1 from 1.8Mhz to 50Mhz and acceptable performance above 50Mhz.
I have used these antennas well into the VHF region with no problems.
Center Feed.

The reccommended erection of this antenna is in a straight line, center at 35' feet and ends at 12' above the ground. If you have the room for this antenna then this is the antenna for you. Complete instructions for the set-up for this antenna can be found on the B&W website http://www.bwantennas.com/.

$400.00 plus your chosen method of shipping. The antenna weighs approximately 15 pounds. Shipping to CONUS addresses only. Payment via certified instrument only (U.S. Postal Money Order, Certified Check, or other form of payment.) Item will not ship until the payment clears the bank.

I have a nice, clean (9.5 out of 10 cosmetically, 10 out of 10 electrically) Icom IC-V8 2m HT. This is a rugged, commercial grade HT built on the same chassis as the popular IC-F3G/F-4G radios. Features 5.5W of output on high, .5w on low. 100 alphanumeric memory channels with VFO, has CTCSS and DCS encode/decode. Separate WX memory channels for instant NOAA WX RX monitoring. Covers 136-174MHz for RX, expanded TX mod enabled. Has a standard BNC antenna connector, no stupid SMA adapter needed for running an external antenna.
Can be programmed with a PC with optional cable and software, but this radio is EASY to program from the keypad, consistent with other Icom VHF/UHF rigs of today.

Rig includes a desktop slow charger BC-146, and OEM BP-222 7.2v 600mah NiCD for 5 watt output (battery does hold a decent charge). Belt clip and new duckie included. Rig works perfectly with NO PROBLEMS, and is very clean, scratch and scrape, smoke free. A little bit of dust in cracks consistent with age, but not dirty, worn or abused. All keys are clear and legible. Display is scratch free. What is NOT included is the box or manual (the manual can be downloaded for FREE from Icom's website in PDF format). Price is $75 FIRM. No lowballs, no trades. Price INCLUDES CONUS shipping via USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation. I accept PAYPAL from US CONFIRMED ADDRESSES ONLY. No international shipping. Send an email to erik dot bagby at gmail dot com.
