F.S. Yaesu FT-450 in like new condition with all original accessories, manual and factory box.
HF+6M,all mode,100W
Absolutely no issues, used casually on PSK31 at 20W for the year that I have owned it.
I am the second owner, the radio is from a smoke free environment and looks like new.
Reason for selling is that I have recently purchased an FT897D outfit for portable use,
Serial number 7I070224,which means it was made in July of 2007 and has the variable color display.
Please note that this is an FT-450 and does not have the optional antenna tuner.
$ 550.00 shipped and insured via USPS to the lower 48 states only.
Sorry,no international sales.
Thanks for reading, 73///Ed N4ZUM
**I have a Donner PSK interface, which retails for $ 49.00 that I'll sell with the radio for $ 25.00 or sell separately.

Hello,
My mom is writing a fictional novel about the re-emergence of society after a systemic collapse (let's hope it's fiction!) She has a character who is an electrical engineer. This character is knowledgeable in all manner of electronics.

The basic premise is that all major forms of commerce and government cease to exist and the internet, telephone, and all supportive structures become unusable because of lack of electricity, breakdowns of switching equipment, etc.

This character jury rigs a radio transmitter and and after establishing communications with his geek buddies, he decides to start a new version of the internet using radio rather than hardwiring the connections.

Assuming that he is able to create a regulated power supply (from parts he loots from the university lab!), I don't know exactly which parts he would need to connect his pc to another pc using radio.

Any suggestions for parts and general methodology would be greatly appreciated. If anyone has better suggestions than what I am suggesting, please feel free to postulate. For example, if there is some existing (perhaps antique or obsolete) device that contains a necessary part that could be salvaged...this may allow for more interesting plot development than simply grabbing a pci interface card from the physics lab.

Thanks a lot in advance.

I have three TNCs for sale or trade. They all power on and light up, but I have not personally tested them or had them in service. I was told, however, that they do work 100%. Paypal or Money order OK. No international buyers (sorry!). Pics available on request. I will entertain trade offers – what do you have!?
1. AEA PK-232MBX PAKRATT: The first 232MBX is Serial 608XX - it is an 8/10 cosmetically. This unit seems a newer model as it has multi-colored LEDs. I do not know what firmware version it has. I do not have the manual or software but will try to supply a appropriate wall-wort power supply. Asking $70 shipped.
2.	AEA PK-232MBX PAKRATT: I have a second 232MBX with Serial 398XX. It is a 7/10 cosmetically (has scratches on top of case). It has all red LEDs. I do not know what firmware version it has. I do not have the manual or software but will try to supply a appropriate wall-wort power supply. $65 shipped.
*** I have two pigtail/cords for the PK-232, one wired to an 8-pin mic connector, the other to a 5-pin accessory connector. First come, first serve.
3. MFJ-1276: This unit is in very nice condition, about an 8/10. It comes in the original packaging with the manual, but no software. The 1276 comes with a wall-wort power supply and a cable to connect it to an IC-706. I do not know what firmware version it has. Asking $70 shipped.
