This is sick but sadly it's true.

CENTRAL ISLIP, New York (AP) -- A man who prosecutors say lured underage girls he met on a vampire-related Internet site to cemeteries for sex pleaded not guilty to rape and sodomy charges.

Police: Vampire Web site used to lure girls to cemetery (http://www.cnn.com/2006/LAW/07/21/internet.predator.ap/index.html)

Heck, in my hometown, people would just go to the cemetary to drink beer.

In our state if your living within a mile of a cemetary you can't be buried there......I know its a crazy law, but....

I don't believe there is any state that allows someone living to be buried in any cemetary.

It's states like this that don't allow a man to marry his widow's sister.

People drink beer and have "romantic trysts" under the trees at our town cemetary at night, usually teenagers. We did have some "perves" that started hanging out there a while back, probably because the kids go there.
I like to visit old cemetaries in the daytime and look at all the old and interesting markers. One of my favorites is the one in Frankfort, Ky. where Daniel Boone is buried. Another is in Richmond, Va. and has several presidents and other historic figures buried there...but the name escapes me right now...

Shucks I have already stashed alot of my money in the attic so when I die, I can go through the attic, retrieve my money and take it with me to Heaven.

But some folks say I should stash some in the basement...just in case.

Oh well.....!! :0

Isn't it more that everybody else has survived your 12,000 posts and should, at the very least, be entitled to a coupon for half off at Sizzler? http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

Actually I hear that after 12,000 they lock your account until someone with an average of 2 posts per year catches up to you. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

Remember the sprits of the dead are not the only ones roaming the cemetery at night.

Remember the movie about the dead that came back to life and wanted to eat brains!!

So, beware!!!

A couple of the ones around here have gates across the driveways. However, other than that, I can't think of a single one in my area that has any kind of fence around it at all.

There is only ONE cemetary within fifty miles of me that is inaccessible at night. It has a brick and mortar wall around it that is twenty feet high and it has a pair of double locked iron gates that almost scrape the concrete as they sit so low. My grandmother is buried there.

Heaven or hell, who cares. By that time it will be virtually worthless... due to inflation.

Never been to one at night and only the really large ones have gates around here.
When I have to be at one I always walk with care to make sure I stay inbetween the graves and not walk over one.
It's just out of respect.
The dead and buried Native Americans are probably right under my property but since there are no grave markers for them ... ... ... ...

Remember the dead speak. Walk through a grave yard at night and listen to the voices of the dead. They could be calling your name!!!!

They have guided tours around Halloween at Westminster Cemetery here in Baltimore where Edgar Allen Poe is buried.

There is also a tradition that a mysterious stranger leaves a bottle on cognac at Poe's grave on his birthday.

Goot eefnink,

"Don't they lock the gates of cemeteries in the US ?"

Nah, the neighbors who use them for short cuts would protest.

"We don't get no pervs in our cemeteries we have high steel bar fences."

That never stopped Boris, Bela, Igor, Frankenstein, Vampira or Tor Johansen (Johnson) who never did have a screen name, not even those Plan 9 From Outer Space guys.

"Down here, it was always to go out to the lake and watch the submarine races, LOL!"

And I thought it was Murray Kauffman (Murray the K) on WINS 1010 New York who sponsored the races in the Hudson River we watched from the pallisades on the Jersey side. Well, maybe those rock and roll signals made it down your way on Saturday night and gave some inspiration for a little Swingin' Suarez action of thier own. Ah, now you got Mr. K's theme, the war chant from Zulu ringing in my ears, >another< flash back to the 60s as if the acid wasn't enough! http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif

Remember this movie? Return of the Living Dead (1985)

think about how the dead came back eat brains and party in the local graveyard. Then ask yourself, do I really want to go to a grave yard alone?

No the corpses wanted to eat the brains of the living.

keep that in mind when going into a grave yard.

Remember the dead do speak.
