I have the feeling we have only just begun. But, the more I see this thing develop, the more I would like my middle east, medium well.

I too would like to see the slaughter stopped in the middle-east. Unfortunately, these people have been warring with each other for thousands of years. This didn't happen overnight and I very seriously doubt that it will stop overnight. It would be nice, but it's an unrealistic expectation.
I don't like terrorist organizations like Hamas or Hezbulla. I didn't like Palestinians, Syria, or Iran supporting these terrorist. However, I'm not exactly pleased with the way that Israel has treated the Palestinians over the years. I get the impression that the Israelis think that Palestinians are sub-standard people. My point: Although I support Israel's right to defend herself, Israel hasn't been compleatly right on some of these issues over the years. There is enough blame to go around.
I long for the day when we can live in a world where there would be no need of standing militaries and where everyone one can live in peace, side-by-side like brothers and sisters. This is probably unrealistic too, but if I could have just one wish granted in my lifetime, this would be it.
