On Sunday July 2, 2006 KC9HAJ will operate from The Chapel, in Ft.
Wayne, Indiana during their annual Independence Day Patriotic Event.
This is a huge event, and receives a lot of publicity. The wife of
the Pastor is the Vice-Chair of the Allen County Republican Party.
This is a great opportunity to promote Amateur Radio, and ARMAD. We
ask that Amateur Radio Operators spread the word about this event,
and join us on the air for some QSO's that show support to our
Military Veterans, and Active duty Troops.
The Chapel is one of the biggest Churches in NE Indiana, and there
will be many people on hand to observe Ham Radio. They would also
like to send messages of thanks and appreciation to our Military
Members. If you know of any Military Amateur Radio Clubs, or
Operators ask them to come on the air to receive positive support.
Let's show this community and the Country that Amateur Radio is a
great hobby, and that we support our Troops, and Veterans.
Let's "HAM IT UP FOR THE TROOPS."
Because of short notice, and not enough information about set up
space our primary modes will be IRLP, and Echolink.
