Dan Wolfe passed away last night after fighting a hard and long struggle with cancer. He was one of the best at CW. He won 1st place in the world for most contacts 2 times over. I met him at the Shelby Hamfest last September and he'd been trying to get me into code ever since. If I struggled with it, he would tell me to shut-up and keep copying. I'm writing this post to honor a man who will be deeply missed by all his fellow hams,

One of the finest men I have ever known. A true "Elmer" for every new ham that came along. He will be greatly missed by me, and all that knew him.
