Hi All,

I'm gonna show my age and ignorance, but what ever became of The Society for the Preservation of Amplitude (Ancient) Modulation? Did it just die, collapse or fall into a wormhole? I see a lot of other groups, FIST, SKCC, etc, but nothing on S.P.A.M.

Now, I not particulary fond of unsolicited e-mail or even that stuff in a can....Stuff Posing As Meat, but I'd like to know what happened to the organization.

Oh, anyone heard of the N.B.S.R.C.?

You may e-mail me at my QRZ (callbook) address about S.P.A.M. Thanks.

Respectfully submitted,
73,

Buck/K5MKE

Go here and read this thread. Although, the initial question of the thread asks about AM International, starting with the second thread, S.P.A.M. is discussed. It should answer your question.

AM International and S.P.A.M. (http://amfone.net/Amforum/index.php?topic=6357.0)

If you want to keep in touch with over a 1000 AM'ers, www.amfone.net is a site you should check out.

Many Thanks, Pete!

Hope you had a Happy Father's Day. I know I did, despite the thunder, lightning and drenching downpours, LOL! No HF for me today.

Respectfully,
