View Full Version : TROUBLE WITH KG4MEX ?
CHRIS, KG4MEX POSTED AN AD FOR AN ICOM 706MKIIG.
I RESPONDED, SENDING A $650.00 POSTAL MONEY ORDER, EXPRESS MAIL, AS HE ASKED. HE SAID HE WOULD SHIP, 2ND DAY AIR TO MY ADDRESS. WELL, NO MORE EMAIL FROM CHRIS, ONLY DINA (AT SAME ADDRESS). MORE THAN 3 WEEKS LATER AND STILL NO RADIO HAS ARRIVED. DINA SAID SHE SHIPPED IT ON 22 MAY BY USPS.......BUT, WILL NOT GIVE ME ANY DETAILS AS TO WHETHER IT WAS PARCEL POST, INSURED, RECEIPT, SOME INFO. MY EMAILS HAVE GONE UNANSWERED. HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE DEALINGS WITH KG4MEX.

DOESN'T LOOK GOOD. HAVE TURNED IT OVER TO ATTORNEY AND US POSTAL INSPECTORS.

Still no radio and still no responses from KG4MEX.
ITS A SHAME THAT WE HAVE AMATEUR RADIO OPERATORS WHO WOULD STOOP SO LOW FOR $650.00

Your posts scare the bejeezes out of me. I've been looking for a MARS-friendly rig that I could afford and QRZ looks like the best option, but if the forum is infected with theives, then I suppose I'll have to look elsewhere. I have to darn near sell my own blood to buy radio gear, and the last thing I want to do is encourage the dishonest.
