Well, I'll be on pins and needles until "Nude Recreation Week" in July...

Yep, they've been around a while.
I think they do field day "au natural" every year.

OK, well, I'll cool it down...no more stupid puns or thoughts.
Just a wierd club.
Why in the world would I want to go to field day amongst a bunch of hairy OFs and work stations in the "buff"?
To each his own, I suppose.

I thought it was funny. Nothing bad here. Naturalist amateur radio is a legitimate pursuit, right?

Actually, why is that so over the top? I used to get invitations from the W6 who organized the group. They have a sort of net activity about twice a year. Usually in the summer. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Relax, I think Tom meant he has logged contacts with members from the aforementioned club. If he had meant it the way you took it I think he would have included the tag line "One of the QRZ moderators."

Yeah, that dawned on me not too long after I posted it.

This sort of thing could only happen up in Austin Texas.
And yes, I'll admit to going to Hippie Hollow...

Hmmmm...
Do they give any award certificates for eye ball contacts?http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif ...OR #must we work them with our #transceivers running barefoot, and with antennas that also have very limited coverage?http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif

There's nothing "natural" about naked radio...out in nature or otherwise.
Adam knew what he was doing with the figleaf.
Oh, you can find all kinds of poor and/or unintentional puns in the article on their web page. ( yes, I admit I peeked ! ) They are falling "behind" on their QSL cards. "Behind" Get it, Yuk Yuk Yuk ! ! !

A few times I made contacts early in the morning when only in underwear, and I felt a bit uneasy about it. If I tried it in the buff I would at least need a towel.
I don't care if they are nude on the other end of a QSO. I can always shut my eyes. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

No dress code that is. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
All this talk of dropping the code requirements and we thought they were talking about morse.
What a relief!

I guess operating in that....fashion ensures equal RF exposure to all parts of the body.
Now if they have a field day type operation, outdoors, in the snow, then I'd have to say......they are much tougher than me.
