The cawing media select who they will to dote on even dolts. The Reverend has a question.

No POP UPS, not asking anyone to read, but.. if you want to comment on the topic do so.

The Reverend says he does not need any criques by amateurs. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

I am absolutely bored silly by the lawyer talk on former news networks. I cannot understand why that stuff is supposed to be interesting.

KWW is much better.

The largest birthday party I ever had, and they had to bring Kool-Aid! Everything would have been fine if they brought some kegs, but Noooo! http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif

Kinda made me happy that I was not invited. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Oh yeah, the topic. Uh, well. This has been a pet peeve of mine for years. Either:

A. No one else has voiced their opinion that the networks are torquing us off by running the same story day after day for years at a time,

B. There are people out there who like the same story day after day because they have no attention span large enough to comprehend a new story. The networks could be catering to these people.

C. They don't listen to us.

There is another thread here that shows many people really like networks who seem to dwell on the same subject. Perhaps they see that there is a big market there and are simply exploiting that avenue. We do not have laws that prohibits the sensationalizing of the storys or massive repetition of the stories. They just drag on and on ad nausium, the same thing over and over until the stomach starts churning, and you want to change channels, but you can't because you are too sick to change it, or too fascinated in the story that you want to hear that part again about how they arrested the kidnappers and then let them go.

I could go on...

Sometimes, I think that the networks pull stuff off the shelf
at random just to fill airtime.

"Hey, boss, what we goin' to show t'night?"
"Aw, just grab something off the shelf, again"

I tend to agree with the reverend...but also must admit that many average people are just plain jealous because they and their kin may not be so rich and beautiful.

Its just normal human nature. #Did you ever doubt?http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif

Is it true that blonds have more fun and that gentlemen prefer them?http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif #Even if it wasn't it would be as advertised on TV.

I disagreed with a psychology lecturer. #He said that men who rape woman aren't usually doing it because of sexual desire or frustration. # I disagreed because in many cases really ugly girls don't get raped. # I could be wrong because guys who rape ugly girls aren't as likely to admit it. #This is a very debatable subject. #Its up for grabs..

w2ilp (Intriguing Lovely People)...are more likely to get recognized. "Knock outs" may be more vulnerable to getting knocked out (or up).
