Fight clubs now another way to be uncivilized and make money at it.

Well it said "ON PRIVATE PROPERTY AND BETWEEN CONSENTING ADULTS" so where is the problem. If you want to sit at home and talk on the radio that is your choice. If you want to go meet some people and get whuped up on or do some whuping here again that is your choice. That is the way this Country is supposed to be FREE CHOICE.

I'd hate to get stabbed with a slide rule. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Yeah! I cannot blame it on excess tesosterone either.
I recall where four men working on a crew at NPR all had their blood taken and tested for testosterone.

The guy who came out highest was GAY! http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

I'll skip the psycho analysis of why these neards need to beat up on each other. I thought the story was interesting.

These are very violent men. Any man who fantasises about giving serious pain to another is an extremely dangerous person. As they need to release this uncontrolled violence. and do it on others its a good job that they don't pick on some poor innocent sod minding his own business walking down the street. If I was an "on the ball" cop I'd keep my eye on this lot.

I agree with you. It has NOTHING to do with being "macho". But this country eats this kind of thing up as normal. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif

It sounds like we need to find a way of channeling that blood and guts mentality and put it to work for us in Iraq. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif

Isn't this why boxing gloves are required for professional matches?
Seems a lot more fair to go 12 rounds until someone really falls to the floor.

I always tried to be a lover instead of a fighter. # http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Went to a red-neck bar one night with a couple of friends for a few cold ones. #

Big red-neck told me that "If I wasn't country then I wasn't s#!^ ". #

I had imbibed just enough courage to be a smart ass so I asked,
"Does that mean if you are country, you are "s#!^" #?"

Bubba told me to shut up.

I thought he said stand up. #

Big mistake.

They have bars and clubs over in Decatur ( city is wet, county is dry ) and latest craze appears to be ---do not fight in the building...shoot at each other in parking lots or on roads near the clubs, and hit innocent bystanders vehicles with your vehicle or your bullets. Also have possible underage employees in your business with no id .

another great reason to stay at home and on the computer ( or the radio ) ..save gasoline, too !! http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Let some of these PROFESSIONAL WRESTLERS you see on tv go to Iraq and kick some folks around, since they are so tough.

I guess I'm against the grain here as #I can understand this. #In Legit martial arts contests, it's either gloves/padding, or semi contact, (more like tag). #I can understand the thought of wanting to compete, let go totally, use EVERYTHING you've learned and see how you stack up.

Doesn't mean I want to go beat on some innocent dude, anymore then it is any fun to play someone at any other game where the other person totally sucks. For me, not even the hurting someone else, but knowing you can "take" someone.

Have even had instructors let a spar get a little rough. Glad they did at times, as long as not too far.
