I got my directly sent qsl back in post from DJ0LZ after I sent him one IRC and SAE. I got him on the phone in Germany to find out why 1 valid IRC is not enough. He claims that the current IRCs expire on 31.12.2006 and he won't have time to exchange it by then???

Has anyone else had a similar problem with this qsl manager? He said he's now got like 2000 IRCs that will expire at the end of the year. Can someone explain to me how sending 2 IRCs (see his qrz details) solves this dilemma?

Do not give him that, just try to work another station in the DXCC.

Why doesn't he simply cash in his IRCs??? They're supposed to be used for postage not for wallpapering.

Thanks. That's what I thought. In fact today I got a very rude reply from the manager. Here are some sentences:

"What a ####ing IRC?I spend your IRC to return your qsl back and to show you thats I do not accept any IRC till and of this year!I(31-12-2006)Next new IRC come again for next 5Years!I have a reason and I dont need to explane to someone anything."

"If you rich think how much was expencive your fon call to Germany you can normaly take a one Beer for your self?"

"If you accept or not I am dont carry about it!"

I hope this posting will raise awareness about this manager.

Almost sounds to me like he wants the IRC to send a card back, and a fiver for a beer?

Sounds like another european QSL manager I heard about. Only needed 1 green stamp but demanded two. One for you one fore me.
