"Unsightly" ham antenna declared legal despite deed restrictions. But they sure have some unattractive women in that neighborhood!

A ham radio antenna angers little old ladies in exclusive neighborhood. (http://youtube.com/watch?v=aC_EeWSKJII&search=ham%20radio)

Talk about eyesores, did you see those complaining women? (No wonder that antenna stays retracted.)

Wow, what a bunch of crows.. How many times did they use "eyesore".

I find people that use that term often have no lives, or ideas. Not unlike those that use "CorporateSpeak" often in liu of real thoughts.

You know what?
This just proves that we as a community need to educate the public more about what ham radio does for THEM in times of disaster.

I can pretty much guarantee that the women in the video would not be griping and complaining so much if they knew what hams do for them whenever mother nature strikes.

It also looked to me like the news reporters disapproved of the antenna as well, judging by their seemingly indifferent attitude as to what that ham had done during the Asian tsunami. Not one word was said about hams helping out in emergencies or when normal communications fail.

Let this be a wake up call to us to educate the public about what we can and already do for them whenever the power goes out.

Hated the lady's perfume, loved the antennas and tower.

Good job Robert Boyd, I'm jealous!!

Were those dogs in the background barking at the antenna or the ol' crows?http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif???
