I do not know about the Euro version friend, but there is a large yahoo group for this radio. I bet they know. Go to www.yahoo.com Click on GROUPS, then SEARCH for Icom IC7000. It should come right up. Ask your question there. Good luck.

The recent review of this radio in CQ Magazine has the details for the TV mod. According to the article, at the last minute the US Dept. of Transportation objected to type certification of the rig unless the TV function was disabled. It appears to be a very easy mod.
