I have a Kenwood TS-940S/with MC-43S microphone that is very clean with manual. It does suffer from the bad solder joints causing intermittint problems this radio is famous for. When the TS-940S works it works great but every 2 weeks or so It stops recieving & transmitting so I have to open open case fold down front panel and reset connectors and pc boards & it works again ok. I am not up to resoldering the bad solder joits and connections which are the fix for this well know problem that heppens each time I move the radio so it is going as is.
