It would appear that we have indeed lost something dear to the hobby - courtesy. In past weekends, while contests obscure the bands with "5-9 5-9 Fifty-Nine" until it seems as if that's all one hears, NOW we have the countries who have allowed SSB onto what WAS only for CW and RTTY. When I attempt to copy W1AW's cw broadcasts (because I CAN, and because it's fun), and they're completely trounced by foreign SSB stations ON TOP OF those frequencies, it's quite a source of irritation.
Com'on folks - THINK! They're pretty big bands, and I'm sure there are other places to call CQ CONTEST, besides 7.0475 & 14.0475. Yes, we respect your priviledges, but we wish you'd respect ours, as well.
