View Full Version : Moderatoring the Moderator Forum?

Hi,
I've got a few questions about the newly created moderator forum, but I fear that if I ask them there, I'll get called a "loser" again. First off,
Aren't links to "the site that should not be named" banned around here? I was told not over there, but I remember someone getting banned in this forum, or the post being edited, or something happening for having a link to it around this forum.
Second, why is it, from the board view thing, "unmoderated", though a topic is locked? I thought only a moderator or admin could lock a topic.

Thanks, in advance, for any clarification.

Edit: Sorry for the screw up in the title. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

It is indeed, here in Inman. Before my thirty apple trees will give blossom. Can hardly wait, until the BUGS get here. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif

Fresh snow here last night. Now that the Sun is coming up higher, the World is too bright outside today to face. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif

Snow ?

about 75 degrees outside...partly cloudy skies, with ever increasing thunderstorms to our North west about 40 miles away.

stout southerly breeze bringing in that gulf moisture ...should see some rain by dark- thirty or so.

talking to ( forgot call sign ) folks around IOWA / NEBRASKA area on what ever frequency on 40 meters was the net the other night ( 7.250 ? )...they said I was fading in & out, but that is ok...had power turned down to 50-60 watts, so even IF I had turned it up all way to 100 I problably wouldnt have been sounding any better.

oh well...still a pretty Sunday afternoon...to pretty to be sitting in front of a computer.

"Charlie", the cedar tree out by the swimming pool says that it is 94 degrees right now. Well, actually the thermometer that is hanging on the fence and is shaded by "Charlie" is reading right at 94 degrees at 4:45 PM CDST. The sun is shining and there is about a 20 percent cloud cover in the area. A breeze about 5 mph is blowing with an occasional "burst" to about 10 mph.

At Love Field the temperature is right at 90 degrees but Love Field is about 15 miles from me. Time & Temperature downtown says that it is 88 degrees. I can't find the temperature at DFW Airport ("official temperature") because everything references Love Field.

A really nice day in north-central Texas!

Cold and rainy here today. A perfect day to hang out in the shack and work the DX on 20M with the new FT-101.

I'm contested out and taking a couple weeks off to just chase DX and work a little more CW.

I just checked .090 and nada, nothing. Some RTTY near .082, and a mode I don't know about .076. .07015 is alive with PSK, and assorted smatterings of code down to the bottom edge of the band.
