Here is a good program to check your spelling and typo's if anyone wants it. It's very unobtrusive on your tool bar.
iespell (http://www.iespell.com/)

Nice stuff. Thanks for headsup. You'd think Microsoft would have included this to begin with. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

I USED to go through other folks post s and correct any and all mis spelled words ( I didnt do pronounciation ) till I finally discovered that ---
1) I was losing friends
2) this aint spelling class
3) I was not THAT important.
Just because some one uses THEIR instead of THERE --- or YOUR instead of YOU'RE does not make them a bad person. They are trying to communicate. THAT is all that matters, that they are trying.
Personally as you can see I am good at spelling, but lousy with the pronounciation makrks...like the -- ; -- and a few otehrs that are not used THAT much in a place like this anyway...so I accidently / on purpose wasted a few POST # s on correcting other folks, and problably offending a half dozen others and really NOT gaining any thing insignificant or important.
But now I have learned to just " live & let live " with their misspelled words and worse pronounciation than I have.
At least we are trying to communicate anyway.... !!!!

ai4ep: Never corrected anyones post in my life. This is just a means to correct your own spelling if it embarrasses you. If you went around correcting other peoples post shame on you. I used to be a very good speller myself but not using my spelling skills I seem to have lost my edge in my senior years. I do not wish folks to think that I'm an uneducated moron and can articulate with the best. Also my punctuation needs work. Any program for that? Oh yea, the post I added was just a example meant for a smile. You also need to get a life and quit condemning others that try to help before you lose more friends.

If everyone used iespell, it would make these threads an easier read. But then, we would have less indication who the illiterates are. We would only have the substance of the thread to make the determination from. Sounds great to me.

Really, like I stated earlier...this NOT a spelling class ( nor a punctuation class ).
Just because a dude cant spell dont mean he can not help you with a radio / antenna problem. Every one is not good at every thing .
Plus a lot of us have kids in the back ground, wives, and other relatives and friends in the back ground, tv / stereo / amateur radio / police scanner, etc to make us mis spell a word or two every now & then....so it aint like the FCC is gonna bust us for saying " their instead of there " .

I do not use a spell checker, but I often misspell while typing and do not see my error until I re-read it later. That's embarrassing!

I USED to never check my spelling before i hit the SEND key, and out to the whole went all my spelling errors ( usually hitting 2 keys at the same time side-by-side )...but now most of the time I read it BEFORE hitting the "send " keu and actually catch some errors before you get a chance to see them...some of the errors....but not all.
Nope. I don't like it. It's more fun to see who's a member of the 2-digit IQ club. It's a LOT more fun to get flamed by someone who can't froggin' spell. It's like getting hate mail written in crayon.
Haw!
Out.

Oooo ... ooooo ... can I join?
One of the posters, a few months back, mentioned WORDWEB. #It's the greatest thing since CW. #Stays at the bottom of the screen for a quick spelling check.
