After 77 years of operation one of the Dutch national stations run by VERON is shutting down.
Last monday, PI4AA broadcasted it's last newsround on 3603 14120 and 2 meter repeater on 145.7875.
The reason behind the shutdown is that they have to leave their current location that was being rented at a reduced cost, they had found a number of locations but they where far over budget and the board was not willing to extend the budget, so instead of opting for transmision from a shack and preparing the transmision on a computer rather then in a studio they decided to shut down the transmision all together.

The seccond station run by the "rival" club pi4vrz/a is still opperational on saterday starting 08:00 utc on 3605 (signin starting 09:45 utc)
