As of last week, individual Belgian amateur radio operators can apply for a 2nd callsign, a 2 x 1 vanity callsign.
The regular ON prefix is reserved for individual ham operators, however OT5x and OR5x are reserved for club stations.
Calls like OQ1A, OP2Q, OS7Z, OO0O OT7T etc. will appear as soon as March 27th, 2006 in large numbers on the DX-clusters.
Don't think they are pirates, these calls are 100% legit.
Range of calls goes from OOxA till OTxZ (x = from 0 to 9) except OT5A till OR5Z (club stations)
